If you’re looking to get away over the next few weeks but haven’t booked a flight yet, you’re actually in luck. For the month between October 21- November 21, United Airlines is giving passengers double the miles.

Of course as with anything airline related, the double miles promotion is not as simple as just hopping on a plane. Passengers must register using code TB2M06 before booking their flight, which must also be domestic (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and completed by the end of the deal of November 21st. Additionally, if you buy a deeply discounted ticket, usually in fare classes T, L, K, G and N, don’t except to earn points times two. However, for those going on a last minute business trip or are looking for a quick weekend escape, United Airlines’ promotion is the perfect way to rack up precious airline miles.

If you’re anything like me, playing the miles game is an addicting one. I constantly watch my United MileagePlus account for signs of movement and fret over my Premier status. Now when it’s time for me to travel I search until I’ve found a Star Alliance partner that can get me where I’m going, even if it’s not the cheapest flight or the shortest. The miles game however, is one I will happily play. The more miles I earn the more perks I get and the more I get to fly. That to me means more vacation time.
