April 20: The Cherry Blossoms are Here

The Randall’s Island Park Alliance is celebrating spring this weekend with their Cherry Blossom Festival. The event will showcase the island’s extensive collection of the trees and will feature workshops, performance and tastings all featuring cherry blossoms, of course. April 20-21: It’s Getting Hot in Here

Hot sauces from around the world are making their way to the Williamsburg Waterfront this weekend for the NYC Hot Sauce Expo. The spicy concoctions will be available to sample as is and also mixed into every sort of edible imaginable. April 25: Taste That Jazz

The Time Warner Center is paying homage to Jazz Appreciation Month this Thursday, with an evening featuring world-class performers and top notch dining from cities that inspired some of the genre’s greats.
