January 26: The Three B’s

January 26: Let the Slopes Come to You

While everyone complains that this winter has been cold, it’s time to get out and enjoy the seasonal fun. The Parks Department is out to remind New Yorkers what this season is all about with Winter Jam 2013, a winter sports festival celebrating the cold. January 27: Chili When You’re Chilly

In what is only the most apropos in terms of name and timing, Chelsea Market will host the annual NYChilifest this Sunday from 7-9:30 PM. More than twenty restaurants will gather for the cook-off in the quest of the prized Golden Chili Mug. To taste your way through the festival celebrating chili, beer and all things spicy, purchase tickets here as no day of tickets will be sold. Chelsea Market, 88 Tenth Avenue, 7-9:30 PM, $50-70

January 29- February 1: Cruise the City

Celebrity Cruises are coming to New York. This week, the luxury liners kitchen will land in NYC, taking the form of a pop up restaurant at The Kitchen NYC. The meal includes dishes crafted by the cruise line’s culinary genius,  John Suley and drinks by The Liquid Chef, Junior Merino. All those who attend will be entered to win a chance to experience Suley’s cuisine at sea, on one of Celebrity Cruises renowned ships. Tickets and reservations can be made here.
