Next stop: Quito, Ecuador! Home from Asia for three weeks, Vermont for two days and heading to Chicago today, I figured it was about time I planned my first international adventure for the new year. Quito is on my list for top destinations in 2013 and one city I am certainly excited to explore. Nestled high in the Andes, Quito is the world’s first city to be named a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is chock full of Incan charm. Ancient heritage and tradition mingle with modernity in this urban city which is the second highest in the world.
