Yesterday, Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner literally reached new heights. Skydiving from a height of 24 miles above earth, Baumgartner become the first human to break the sound barrier unassisted, traveling 833 miles per hour in a 4 minute 20 second free fall towards solid ground. Nt withstanding a few harrowing twists and turns, Baumgartner survived the epic leap, landing in New Mexico roughly 15 minutes after his journey began.
Cheers to those who continually reinvent what it means to explore.
