Anne Keiser shot him for National Geographic in 1985, I unknowingly shot him in 2006 and then again this summer. The bagel seller of Suk ez Zeit in Jerusalem’s Old City is as much a market institution as the infrastructure itself.

 Little has changed for the merchant over time. I, for one, hope that stays the same.
